Urban Planning for Dummies
Given its more generalized appeal, it’s not surprising that architecture has its own tome in the popular Dummies reference series…but urban planning? ‘Tis true. As Planetizen reports today, the release of Urban Planning for Dummies next month “is a sure sign that planning is entering the mainstream consciousness.”
In Planetizen’s interview with the author, a faculty member of the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University, Jordan Yin explains how the goal of the book is to “deliver an understanding that is practical, that can be applied, and generates interest.”
